For Tea Party with Brunette Brit Beauty Bidding Begins

Katie Price will host charity tea for four

In a blatant attempt to appeal to our small but growing audience in the U.K. we felt compelled to offer a blurb on this auction from a story on MonstersandCritics.com:

Katie Price is auctioning off a private tea party with her in London.

The British TV star, also known as Jordan, will meet the highest bidder and two of their friends for afternoon tea.

The auction description reads: "This private tea party will take place between July 2009 and before the end of December 2009.

"Katie Price will spend 45 minutes in private with the winner - who will then be welcome to carry on with their tea and sit and chat!"

All proceeds raised from the auction will go to Buy Once Give Twice, which looks after children and adults with disabilities of all kinds.

Katie has a disabled son, Harvey, who was born blind and is also autistic. The brunette beauty is also planning to run The London Marathon in April to raise money for several good causes and has been pictured in training this week.

Of her marathon ambitions, Katie said: "I'm going to challenge myself and run the London Marathon for charity. I'm going to get proper training and finish it. Now I've said it publicly, I can't back out."

The auction for tea with Katie closes on January 12, with the highest bid standing at £550 on Tuesday afternoon (06.10.09).

Take it easy, David, 'cause we feel ya. Most of your questions were answered in the article she accompanies. We don't know where you can see her on TV here in the States - maybe the BBC via cable. You can find her on the ol' www, for sure.

Though we're somewhat disinclined to publish cheesecake for no good reason, when there is a good reason (as in an auction with a charity twist) we feel obliged to do so. Glad you approve.
