eBay Tops List of November's Top Retail Name Searches

Auctioneer has wide lead over Walmart, Target & Amazon

The retailer name "ebay" was searched more than 17.5 million times in November, with "walmart" coming in a distant second with almost 8.5 million searches and 'target" in third with nearly 4.8 million searches, according to data reported today on InternetRetailer.com.

These were the top retailer names searched last month according to data provided to Internet Retailer from Nielsen Online's MegaView Search Custom Data. The MegaView Search data is based on tallies from 58 representative search engines.

Following are the top 20 retailer names searched for in November with the number of searches for each, according to Nielsen Online:
